Hope its not too personal, naaa it is, i guess so!

Was not there at my home.

Was with maternal grandmother.

She is living alone in trees-rounded house.

Had a pet dog Rambo, he died few months back.

As every grand-moms do, she also made me and my sis eat every hour.
I have not known the feeling of hunger for the past 5 days, when I was there with her.

Also got some closer time with my sister as she was not engaged in any social networks, because we had no net connection there.

I realised that the lapse of net connection would make bonding more, whether its with your siblings or with nature.

I had a splendid walk with my mother's mother ammumma around the vast land she has.

It was truly heaven-like, to see the plants, trees, pond after a light shower from sky, the dim twilight filled sky made me in dreamland. I with her help plucked some saplings for me to sow.

Well when i contemplate, how had i spend time there, the lion share of the 24 hours, was devoted to sleep, then secondly to tv and film and then to reading and yes definitely to eating. To be frank i hated food for some good minutes or even hours, but thinking about hungry times and my granny's love, i could not frown and make faces at the served food in front of me

Had closer watch on tv, and KAPPA TV impressed me. A new tv channel with a different perspective, thank god, no serials or flop movies over there.

The films i viewed were Life of Pi and The Karate Kid, both gave nice time. If you get to watch them, do watch. I wish i had seen Pi in 3D form, i could have, what to do my friends were not that open minded to go around theaters when we had  Angamaly Carnival close to us, showing four films at a time.

Pi did not leave my mind for some time, i think good films' function must be that.

Karate kid made me  feel like a kid again, yet arouse an urge to study some martial arts. It was good to see Jackie Chan and Will Smith's smart kid Jaden Smith together on screen.

My sister Neema/Chunki also had a part in stuffing my stomach with foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. She did excellent cooking there, and we had bought the back up products on the way itself.

Coming back to grandma, i wonder how is she living alone there. She has 3 sons and one daughter, that's my mum. People often says cheers and yahoo when they have sons, but i think that's insane, having 3 stout sons (certainly they need to make a living, living and working abroad, and after all treats her very well), she had the fate to live alone, god had taken away her husband early, just a month before my mum's marriage with ... of course my father. Now, its her daughter who comes in a need for her,and i am proud of that. Recognition of the need of a daughter is important. A son can not replace that, especially for aged mothers. I wish that i have at least a daughter in future.

And here at my father's place, have father's mother, this ammumma, or rather achamma is the contrast of ammumma (maternal grandma). Achamma has sent off another housemaid yesterday, this is the fourth one, very sad about that. She does not like any one, neither the ones coming here, thats not their fault, she is one of that kind.

Whatever, waiting for the next maid, me and chunki are the ones struggling in between, we need to get adjusted to the maids, and once we get through, our achamma bids them bye with a ferocious face and tone. She might be doing and repeating this as there are people to find for house maids in this house maids scarCITY!
