Facebook deactivation

I have decided to deactivate my Facebook because many people whom I dislike lives in there.
While scrolling down I see that  "friends" share and post pics of their possessions and distorted pics which actually gives no damn to me yet I feel as if i don't fit there. Some even has been unknowingly boasting off on their illusionery achievements, virtues, and vices.
I am a private person and mostly an introvert. I am not good at socialising or don't want to show off what I have and don't have, what I eat or drink, where I go and don't go, neither where am I at the present.
To avoid any possible collateral damage as the aftermath of socialising at fb, I thought why not quit and belong to the human world.
To share what I feel, where I go or my experiences or lessons I get every day at free of cost, I have a platform, less read and long lasting- blog.
If I feel to post some good pics I can do it on instagram.
To follow trending issues I can get on to twitter.
I should also learn to live with any of these and just books, nature and some loving ones.
Why not call your friends by cellphone and say hello?
Do u need fb birthday reminders to recall bdays of your close people?
Do u need birthday wishes from not-so-close-in-reality friends to make your day a happy one? I don't need and so hadn't made my birthday viewable for friends, neither I wish back to friends I am not in touch.
But deep there I think I may activate  my account rarely to see the true and great achievements of people I respect and adore.
I may flip on their new pics and check where they are and what job they do. I will be eager to see more of my once-upon-a-time close friends' life partners pics and gradually their babies (you will be visiting all time close friends, so u can see it live; or can get pics via email) . I also know that it is fun to see u and ur friends getting grey hairs and wrinkles and walking slowly towards oldage.
Would there be any other social network  to beat Facebook.
While writing this I know they may be spying on me. I am too paranoid at times.
