Dependence

Blogging from cellphone is a true revelation for me.
All the laptops in this home has been into voluntary retirement.
Don't smirk dear and most valuable reader.

Am I too dependent on tech gadgets?
Am I a tech geek and savvy? I don't think so. Definitely books keep me away from gadgets.

Most of my friends consider me to be techno savvy person.
I can't wilfully agree to it.
they think I know about these more than they do.
whatever I know is learnt from pure trial and error method.
we were all ignorant about every single thing in front of us.

just like you, technology advancement came to our fingertip by default. None of us ran behind it unless for good cellphones and laptops. I was introduced to computers when I was in 4th std.

Most of us learnt it for survival unconsciously.
we didn't put much effort to be an IT literate and experts.

Open your eyes.

These gadgets are man-made.
Not god made ones.

So in it appears only the amount of expertise men are liable and possessed with.
To crack it is simple and certain.

U don't have to undergo any penance to master it.
who knows that finally these would be the reason for human extinction.

I try to cut down the time I spend on tech gadgets. They are definitely the most handy ones and may be I can't imagine a life with out them. But it consumes my valuable time. Never ever want to introspect of wasting on these things when I bed ridden.

I would not have successfully completed my MPhil research without my Lenovo A5500 tab (not showing of, never even wish to get ipads- i just want to get t work done and never mind the brand whatsoever).
I had to resort to several ebooks and digital files. I was faithfully dependent on it. It was also stress breaker. But never be dependent on anything and anyone. At the end of the day all of us aloof and lonely ones. Be your own best friend. Thinking your cellphone won't dumb u is not a good idea. Being intrigued by the advancement in tech world, I am astonished as an alien. Cortana and Siri might replace many little things we are now fond of. It would be nice to have assistants in our phones but wouldn't we forget to "memorise" and "remember". Will these two words get erased from our vocabulary.
I don't keep reminders in my cellphone. I am an already absent minded person. With cortana or Siri or any other virtual personal assistants even my existence might be put in danger. My brain cells might forget its duties and all about me.

I wish if I had friends who wrote letters and posted them via our traditional posts. I need to experience that Joy in waiting for the post man or post-mistress.

I can't imagine a life without pen and paper. No gadgets can bewitch me to abandon it.
I will hold on for it forever even if the world calls me to be an old fashioned bitch.

Confused with that "bitch" in the sentence.
what do u think about the next gen?
will they be learning ABCD on a slate or book?
they will be having their vidyarambham on tablets and Samsung notes?
And who is me for them who prefers paper and pen to e-note and stylus? A bitch  may be with another new connotation. Hope it will be tad positive.

I am highly worried of the e-wastes.
what are we gonna do with those that can't decompose itself but also endangers nature and our planet.
we may need a govt ministry for e-waste management in the coming years.

you might be thinking me to be hypocrite. U may call so. Aren't we all hypocrites? We say one thing, preach another and do exceptionally another variant.

the bottom line is: Never be dependent on electronic gadgets or products, equip yourself with alternatives because god alone knows whether we may arrive to a point and time when electricity is non-existent and never a prosperity.
Courses on how to hold a pen and turn a page of a book isn't very far.
having said this I wish all my concerns are all trajectory illusion.
we those privileged with all of these products are materialistic and can never imagine being an hermit. We are all the preys of Maya. That's not from me, a thought we have come across in few Hindi poems we might have learnt in school. Are we all living in a Maya world that can pop like a bubble? Answers are few and questions are unlimited.

There are so many human who do not possess even smartphones or have an email account. We can't understand their happiness. I they are happy with out those, why are we disturbed when our smartphones are out of internet connectivity?

p.s I prefer paper books to ebooks.
Typing via cellphone is giving me headache- a major after effect of what we have been discussing.

p.p.s I promise I won't be owning Iphones or Ipads- they are utterly boring and less colourful. But may put hands on macbook.

p.p.p.s I suggest phone makers to enable the glory of giving options to set battery charging hours when put on charge- that is to automatically cut the charging.

See even when i try to convey that we should limit our dependecy, i can't stop writing about these stuff. Orikalum njn nannavula (malayalam).
