How to kill time?- you can learn that from me.

I have not been to this space for few days. If you ask me, what was i busy doing here, then i have no straight answer to it, because i was busy, KILLING TIME.

Korean serial City Hunter kept me on toes, with episodes carrying suspense, sorting out corruption among Korean politicians, the hero revenges the five perpetrators of his father's and comrades death. He was raised by his dead father's best friend and comrade Jin Pyo, in fact the survivor was saved by hero's father by taking the bullet that was to pierce on Lee Jin Pyo (Koreans have three names, first middle and last). Interesting drama, 20 episodes, each of one hour. So we can derive from the drama that corruption is prevalent even in South Korea. The heroine is working as a bodyguard, as unfortunately she guards the politicians in power who the hero Yoon Seung / City Hunter ( my favourite actor Lee Min Ho)  targets to kill. But at last Yoon Seung almost have three fathers. The dead father was not his biological father, his real father was one among the five politicians.

Now i need peace, in the sense, SILENCE.

The ambiance here is too noisy.

Am also inclined to television now. Got back my favourite channel NDTV Good Times. I like travel and lifestyle channels, may be because now i am very passionate about travelling. I am able to see various national and foreign places through Good Times and TLC. Need to see them all, sensing the air, people, tangible buildings and objects that symbolise the peculiarity of that particular place. And i got to see Amritha Gandhi with her show Project Living. She is my ever-time favourite anchor, she really taught me correct pronunciations of certain misprounced english words. I used to watch and still watch her Royal Reservation shows, now in the website. http://royalreservations.ndtv.com/   Splendid presentation and script writing, charming! I love you Amritha.

And my eyes on movies were less, have just seen only two movies. One is a Bengali movie, Bhoot Bhobishyot, the name suggests whats in it, isn't it? It tells the tale of ghosts who have no places to stay as the old buildings are smashed off to replace with spanking new skyscrapers, malls or any of that kind. Hey, don't worry, it is said in a comical way, made me laugh a lot, do give it a try if you are coming across this movie. Parambrata Chattopadayaya also acts in it, and am having crush on him after seeing Kahani and this movie. And what if I am going to see all of his movies, then may be i will have to see him in person else i will be crazy.

The other movie is GO GOA GONE, downloaded by my sis, and watched with her, its more of a zombie movie + Miss India Puja Gupta, Saif, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and another actor(will have to check his name) who took away my attention. A time pass movie!

Then books, finished the trilogy. Last one bit dragging. One thing impressed me, and burned bit of my unused energy to ponder over that. It was the revisioned character of Neelkanth or Shiva's adorable and loving wife Sati. In The Oath of Vayuputhras, before she dies, there is a storming fighting scene. Sati is portrayed as an excellent warrior throughout the trilogy, and in this she dies fighting with another fearsome Egyptian warrior. Even after her right eye is gouged out, her four fingers of an arm is cut off, her abdomen being stabbed two times at two positions, she stands up and fight with immense uncontrollable pain to lengthen the fight, at least to save Nandi from dying with the enemies' hands. According to the Egyptian custom of the killer, he should make the final kill, once he sees a good warrior than himself and then abandon the warrior-hood after burying the sword and making a vow. Why this episode kept my nerves alive was because this Egyption warrior, initially when Sati began fighting, he underestimated her, and made frivolous comments on Sati and women in general, as in "what can this silly woman do here?". He worshiped her as a goddess after her death. Many men do think what can a woman do?
It can not be put down on words, it can only be enacted and shown instantly. Men can see the whole power of the universe getting accumulated on her furious red and violet face, you can expect an explosion, then you won't be in a position to explain that fury to anyone else, and that's why the power of women is not spread too much among people, the male chauvinists hide the burning fury and fire seen in the women he had tried to hurt by any means, they do not dare to speak it out to even to the wall or the mirror in the bathroom. If women can give life splitting her body (more god-like), she can also avenge the person who threatens her and can even take life to defend herself even without knowing any of the martial arts.
So beware, gentlemen before raising your hands on her, even to type her name, on the screen!
